“NLC did a beautiful job of the A1077 up to and through Winterton it's like a formual 1 race track - hang about do we want that!”

“Once they`ve finished repairing the backlog are they then going to go back round and re-repair the ones that have opened up again. Frodingham Road and Exeter Road have got a couple that have reappeared”

“as already said, some of these 'repairs' are like speed-bumps, which means you swerve all over the road just to avoid them. also, as the edges are so prominent the bashing that the traffic will give them will soon start to break them up again. please, council, employ people who care about the quality of their workmanship, otherwise it's money wasted, as the job will simply need to be re-done. and please stop wasting money on re-surfacing(going off track a bit, i know. but we all know that it's only done to use up surplus funds.) , it does NOTHING for road quality.”

“i went past some council workers the other day on brumby wood lane at the back of the hospital, they were filling holes in and cars were driving straight over them as they wasnt putting anything round them to let the tarmac dry. total useless. no wonder all the roads around here are so bad to drive on.”

“REPAIRED ???? i saw NLC repair some potholes the other day, and i passed that same place a couple of days later, the tarmaccadam they had dropped in the hole had been compacted that much by traffice it had become a pothole again ! so a waste of time as the ingredients they are using clearly dont work. With the volume of traffic, whatever they use, is soon squashed or flicked back out, especially on the A1077 near go car, right across the road its like a speed hump, and its all cracked up again in places. I think if NLC didnt keep bodging up the utiluity supplies etc, they wouldnt need to keep digging the roads up and creating these weak spots. Clearly all roads in Lincolnshire want to be re laid and using something hard wearing NOT CHIPPINGS !!”

“I would definately say that there are a hell of a lot more potholes to fix. If the council had looked after the roads better it wouldnt of been so bad. Even the potholes they have patched up look like they have been done by a blind person.
Where does all the tax money actually go other than council whims like the pods? We seem to be paying more and more and getting less and less.... Is it the wage bill at pittwood house?”
