£5m bid reported for Gary Hooper - former Scunthorpe United goalscoring ace

Celtic are today reported to have turned down an offer of about £5 million from Norwich City for Gary Hooper - the former Scunthorpe United striker.

Gary moved to Celtic from  Glanford Park in 2010 and has proved a prolific marksman north of the border.

    “Nowhere near enough, have the Canaries not seen how badly we need the sell-on. Hooper outscored Andy Carroll in the Championship, playing less games for a much weaker side. Since then he's been Scotland's top scorer and banged them in Europe. Get real.”
