The collision between the bicycle and a blue Vauxhall Corsa happened at around 4pm yesterday (Friday, August 31) at the Bishop Norton turn-off, near Caenby Corner.

The 45-year-old male cyclist, from Corringham, was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, where police say he is in a "serious but stable" condition.
