Adam keen to grasp his chance
WHILE his Scunthorpe team-mates enjoy a rare weekend off, teenage United striker Adam Boyes will be thirsting for some action tomorrow.
The 19-year-old player is looking to kick-start his career in a loan move to Kidderminster Harriers.

The West Midlands outfit are battling for honours on two fronts – chasing a place in the promotion play-offs and a date at Wembley in the final of the FA Trophy.
"They are a club on the up, so I thought it was a good opportunity for me to join them," said Boyes.
"I've just been in the reserves at Scunthorpe but I prefer to be playing more competitive football."
Boyes made an impact in his debut this week when he came off the bench as a 62nd minute substitute to help the Harriers salvage a 2-2 draw at home to Ebbsfleet.
He cushioned a header into the path of fellow striker Brian Smikle to set up a 77th minute equaliser for the West Midlands outfit, helping them stretch their unbeaten run to nine games.
And the Iron youngster then came close to a late winner with a shot that was scrambled off the line.
He has been taken to Aggborough until the end of the season by new Kidderminster boss Steve Burr, who has just picked up the Blue Square manager of the month award for February.
And Burr was pleased with his new recruit. "Adam did very well on his debut. He's a good player and a young lad and he'll make sure we have good competition for places up front," he declared.

“Good luck to Adam. Have to comment on the report on sky showing Byrney and Thompson on the bricklaying course. Is this Wharton already thinking ahead and cutting back on wages when the new extension or ground comes into force. Now that's forward thinking! UP THE IRON!!!”
