The East Midlands Ambulance service has commented on the theft of one of his vehicles from Scunthorpe General Hospital yesterday.
A spokesperson for EMAS said: “Although the vehicles isn’t used for accident and emergency work, it still performs a vital role in providing transport for people who have to attend hospital for medical treatment.
"Luckily, thefts like this are very rare but the incident has caused a lot of inconvenience for us and we will have to take the vehicle off the road to have repairs carried out.
"We are pleased that the police arrested a man on suspicion of committing the crime.”
