Ancholme Head race draws massed ranks of rowers to Brigg
Scores of rowers descended on Brigg for a major annual race along the River Ancholme on Sunday.
The Ancholme Head event was staged by Ancholme Rowing Club, which is based in Manley Gardens.

The 2,750m course ran from Broughton Bridge to Brigg and attracted competitors from all over the north and midlands.
Various categories were open to men and women, while many other people came to town just to watch the event unfold, joining locals who turned out to support the event.
