The day was an excellent example of how a local Territorial Army unit can work with an educational establishment.

I joined in 2003 and was originally a medic and I'm now training to be a driver.

I came into it quite late but I wish I'd done it a lot younger.

A career in the Army is not for everyone but I've seen so many people get a lot out of it and we recruit in Hull and the East Riding.

I was one of the team members on the day and everyone had a great time raising money for charity and getting to know more about opportunities in the Army.
