A FLOWER shop is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Lewis' Flower Gardens in Ashby was set up in February 1983 in Brigg Market Place and traded there for a number of years before moving to Ashby.

Owner Helena Kilmartin said she started work in August 2005. She said: "I was taught many different things in the business and quickly got to grips with the day-to-day running of the shop.

"Then, in late 2011, I had the opportunity to buy the business from original owner Mr Lewis and finally took over on December 3, 2011.
