SCUNTHORPE United were effectively relegated from the Championship after suffering a 2-1 home defeat against Millwall. Crystal Palace's win over Leeds United means the Iron sit six points behind the London club with only two games remaining and a vastly inferior goal difference.

A goal from Millwall's John Marquis in each half was enough for the Lions to take all the points with Michael O'Connor's late penalty proving little more than a consolation.
