Playing a combination of two singles and three doubles games for each match, the girls lost two matches but won their match against Tollbar to finish in third place overall.
In the Key Stage 4 Girls' section, Baysgarth School also won their match against Tollbar to finish in third place, having lost narrowly to Newland School for Girls (Hull) and Wolfreton.
The Vale Academy represented North Lincolnshire in the Key Stage 3 Boys' Finals and had comprehensive victories against Hymers College and Tollbar.
However, the title came down to the head-to-head match with Headlands School (East Riding). Vale lost three games to two to finish runners-up.
Vale also represented North Lincolnshire in the Key Stage 4 Boys' Finals. The boys dominated, losing only two games of the 15 played over the three matches.
