Bananas and custody coming someone's way if police can catch person who stole 40kg of fruit from Winterton shop?
A MAN wanted for the theft of 40kg of bananas is among people officers want to bring to justice in time for Christmas.
Various CCTV images of people in North Lincolnshire have been released by police chiefs in North Lincolnshire – including a man to whom they wish to speak in connection with the theft of six blocks of cheese, and a man they wish to talk to about the theft of a supermarket scanning computer.

In a theft from the Co-op in Market Street, Winterton, on Sunday, November 11 at 11.55am. 40kg of bananas were taken. Crime reference 1929660

In a theft from Co-op, Market Place, Epworth on Friday, August 24 at 2pm: Someone left the store with two jars of coffee and a bottle of washing-up detergent. Left in a green Land Rover. Crime reference number: 1926124.

In a theft from the Co-op, Market Street, Winterton, at 8pm on Friday, October 5. Several joints of beef stolen. Crime reference 1934328

In a theft from the Open Stop Shop in Station Road, Epworth, on Saturday, September 27. DVDs and air freshners stolen

In a theft from HMV in Jubilee Way, Scunthorpe, at 1.30pm on Sunday, November 11 between 2pm and 2.20pm and between 2pm and 2.20pm on Tuesday, November 20. Box-sets taken
Mike Gotch, acting sergeant from the crime team in Scunthorpe, said: "Thefts from shops are very costly to businesses and police work very closely with local shops to ensure that people who are intent on stealing from them are dealt with accordingly."
