Barratt's profits up
PROPERTY: Barratt Developments is expecting to see a sharp rise in profits.
The property developer said profits for the six months to December 31 would be about £45m, more than double last year.
Barratt has seen an increase in its operating margin and a 5.3 per cent rise in completed private houses.
The company, which has 25 divisions across Britain, employs more than 4,000 people and is one of the UK's biggest house builders.
