Barrow driver caught doing 105mph on A180
POLICE caught a driver hurtling along the A180 at 105mph after he had been overtaking, a court heard.
Sean Conlin, 41, of Highfields, Barrow-Upon-Humber, admitted breaking a 70mph speed limit on the dual carriageway at Great Coates on November 10.

He told police he was "shocked" at the speed he was doing while overtaking and was not aware it was so high.
He had a previous speeding conviction last year, Grimsby magistrates heard.

Conlin was fined £400 and was ordered to pay £40 costs and a Government-imposed £40 victims' surcharge.
He was spared a driving ban and was given six points.
