DC Palmer said: "I have decided to concentrate my charity raising efforts for this year by raising money for the Stroke Association’s campaign for 2013 where they encourage groups to try and raise £2013.

"I have personally been in touch with one of the victims and have told him what I intend to do. I want to raise awareness of the Stroke Association's fundraising initiative an to try and raise as much money as I can."
