Breakdowns cause traffic delays in Scunthorpe

Major traffic delays have been caused in Scunthorpe this morning after two vehicles broke down.

A black car broke down at the traffic lights on Queensway at the Old Brumby Street junction, causing long queues into the town.

And a bus broke down on Howden’s Hill, just off the Rowland Road Roundabout, causing congestion in Ashby Road.

Update, 9.45am: Both incidents have now been cleared.
