Brigg Primary School raises cash for NSPCC
GENEROUS pupils of Brigg Primary School have raised thousands of pounds for charity.
The kind-hearted youngsters have raised £1,852.73 since January which will train an new NSPCC councillor to man their 24-hour helpline.

The children organised their own bring and buy sale and took part in a variety of sponsored activities to reach the staggering total in a matter of week.
Year six pupil Sophie Mcmillan, 10, is delighted the schools efforts will help hundreds of children across the country.
"I think our grand total is amazing and I feel really proud that we have raised so much money," she said.
"It costs £1,500 to train a councillor so we have gone beyond that which is great.
"We know that we have paid for one person who in turn will help hundreds and hundreds of people.
"It makes me feel happy that I am helping to make a difference."
Abbie Andrew, 9, said fundraising was lots of fun.
"We all took part in a sponsored quiz which was lots of fun.
"The whole school played and there were lots of questions - some were hard and some were easy.
"I feel proud inside that our money will be helping children that really need it."
NSPCC Schools organiser Kate Buyukyilmaz congratulated the school for its tremendous efforts.
"It is very expensive to train a councillor.
"Raising more than £1,800 the children have exceeded the cost which is fabulous."
