Broughton cancer suffer Liam Thompson back in hospital just days after dream honeymoon in Scawby
Newly-wed Liam Thompson has returned to hospital just days after his honeymoon.
The 23-year-old cancer patient went on a honeymoon break with wife Alice after the couple were married at St Hybald's Church, Scawby last month thanks to the Telegraph arranging for local businesses to donate their services for the wedding.
Liam was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last year – a rare form of bone cancer.
He has been undergoing extensive treatment for the last few months but was told by doctors that there was little more they could do.

He is currently in St James' University Hospital, Leeds, where he is awaiting further chemotherapy to prolong his life.
But since he was re-admitted to the hospital a week ago, treatment has not been able to go ahead because his blood count is not at the right level.
Alice said: "He's waiting to speak to the doctor about stopping the chemotherapy because it's not doing anything. It's causing him more side effects than doing good. He's always in hospital and he says he's had enough."
Recently the couple were treated like VIPs during a star-studded honeymoon break to London.
Although they had not planned to go on honeymoon, they were presented with the surprise trip during their evening wedding reception, when a film crew sprung out to deliver the three-day break.
They were whisked to check in at the 5* Goring Hotel – the same hotel that Kate Middleton stayed in on the eve of her wedding to Prince William.
Alice said: "It was fantastic. The hotel was really posh – we weren't used to it. Our room was upgraded to a suite which was absolutely fantastic."
Liam and Alice were chauffeur driven around the city to soak up the sights.
The had their own private screening of the new James Bond film Skyfall at Sony Pictures studio.
"The film was amazing, really, really good" said Alice..
"We went for something to eat then watched the Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre in the West End.
"We met the cast backstage. I've never seen anything like it before – I really enjoyed it. It was the best part of the trip. The costumes were good."
After dark the couple got a bird's eye view of the River Thames and its landmarks with a ride on the London Eye.
"It was amazing. It was lit up green for Halloween. We drove down Oxford Street but we didn't get out because it was so busy. We did go to Madame Tussauds and the London Aquarium.
"We love London and the London Eye was fantastic. We will definitely be going back."
