Broughton society debutant Craig "understudies" his former teacher from Sir John Nelthorpe School in Brigg
Broughton Dramatic Society is presenting When We Are Married - a comedy by J B Priestly - at Broughton Village Hall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday - November 23, 24 and 25 (7:30pm).
Tickets costing £5 are now available from Brigg Tourist Office (The Buttercross), in the Market Place, or book by telephone on 07906 27270.
They will also be available on the door each night.
Craig Benson, who is well-known in Brigg as an amateur footballer with teams like Servicemen and Briggensians, will be treading the boards for the first time.

Craig said: "I am making my acting debut, teaming up with my drama teacher from school, Nick Grafton, after first meeting him as an 11-year-old, 35 years ago!
"We have a large cast (13) for this play including both old and new faces."
Nick, who is a long-serving member of the Broughton group, is director of the Brigg Sixth Form College, off Grammar School Road.
