Buses replace trains from Cleethorpes to Scunthorpe due to engineering work
Buses replaced trains running between Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe today (February 24, 2012) - due to engineering work being carried out.
National Rail said the route affected was between Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town, Barnetby, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Meadowhall, Sheffield, Stockport, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport.

“Coaches train sportsmen and women. Buses take you for a ride by road. If I buy a rail ticket I want to travel by train not by bus. Come on National rail etc get a grip. Have you no pride in your product?”
