Businessman progressed through ranks at city firms
NICK Hildyard joined Arco in 2002 following an illustrious career that saw him progress through the ranks at a number of Hull firms.
Beginning his career in the city with Ernst & Young, after qualifying as a chartered accountant he became finance director of a group of shipping and forwarding companies before moving on to Smith & Nephew.
Beginning as finance director for Europe, Mr Hildyard went on to become managing director of Smith & Nephew's Global Wound Care Division and finally group manufacturing director.
He has now been succeeded in the role of joint managing director at Arco by marketing director Neil Jowsey.
