EAST Yorkshire caravan manufacturer Victory Holiday Homes has announced a record-breaking return from one of the industry's highlights of the year.
The company, based at Gilberdyke, came away from the four-day Scottish Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Show in Glasgow with retail sales of £650,000 and many more trade sales in the pipeline between now and Easter.

FANTASTIC RESPONSE: Victory Leisure Homes managing director Peter Nevitt.
Managing director Peter Nevitt said the reception given to the company's models had been nothing short of tremendous.
He said: "Everyone in the industry was hopeful that the atmosphere and sales at the exhibition would kick-start this year but the success of the Victory range was even greater than we had hoped for.

"The response from the park operators in the form of actual orders gave everyone at Victory a real boost but it was just as important to hear the many positive comments from the public.
"They left us in no doubt that the caravan holiday remains the first choice for many.
"It surpassed my expectations. It is more than previous years but because we have launched a new model, you get an extra surge of interest."
Mr Nevitt said the business – which began with 32 employees and now has a team of 87 – is doing better than expected.
He said: "We are doing very well at this time.
"Since our latest model launched in September, we are looking at an 8 to 9 per cent increase in output."
Victory Leisure Homes was founded in April 2009 on the former Cosalt Holiday Homes site in Stoneferry Road, east Hull.
To accommodate growth, the company, which is owned by Hull family firm JR Rix And Sons, relocated to the former Britspace site in Gilberdyke last year.
Victory chose the Glasgow event to unveil its latest model – the Gainford, which will be manufactured in three sizes and has been designed to give the buyer even more choice in terms of luxury level.
Mr Nevitt said: "We are constantly looking to design new models that offer the best in holiday home accommodation and judging from the initial response to the Gainford we have raised the bar once again."
Victory manufactures a large range of holiday homes and lodges for domestic and overseas markets. Last year, the company opened a new showground, the Crofthead Holiday Park at Ayr, to further build its profile north of the border.
