“If they want to run a story on chimney fires it should be about how to prevent them! A lot of young people are opening up old fire places and burning logs etc without realising that chimneys can catch fire if they're not used correctly.
So do something useful ST, try preventing a fire instead of whittering on about big red fire engines. Funny thing is, it was probably a scrunched up ST that lit the fire in the first place!”

“It is a sad reflection on the standard of reporting by the ST that a local girl from Haxey has died after a tragic accident at a Railway Crossing in Finningley and all this two bit rag can come up with is a chimney fire.”
