THE multi-talented frontman of legendary Madchester band the Inspiral Carpets is preparing to headline at a gig in Scunthorpe.
Organist, singer, writer, radio presenter and record producer Clint Boon, pictured, will be at The Light in Scunthorpe tomorrow (Friday, January 25) night for what promises to be another sell-out show.

The 53-year-old Lancastrian will headline the show in one of his many roles as a DJ.
Joining Clint for the £7-a-head show organised by Tacheless Promotions will be The Tapestry and two of Scunthorpe's most exciting bands, The Dropdeads and The Colliers.

Light manager Mark Deans is expected to make Friday's Live at The Light a regular event if the show is as big a success as expected.
But tomorrow night's star man has even bigger dates in sight.
In March, Clint will rejoin the Inspiral Carpets for an 11-date UK tour, kicking off at the O2 Academy in Newcastle on the 13th.
The one-time darlings of the "Madchester" scene will perform their debut album Life on stage for the first time in its entirety.
Life was released in 1990 and reached number two in the UK album charts.
Clint told What's On: "I have great memories of us writing and recording Life.
"The culmination of the first five years of us making Inspiral music was such an exciting time for us.
"The Life album is our most psychedelic and diverse work. Working class Oldham meets timeless garage pop."
In direct competition to the Light tomorrow will be the relaunch of the Scunthorpe Blues Club, now based at the town's St Bernadette's Social Club in Ashby Road, instead of The Chancel on Cambridge Avenue, Bottesford.
On stage from 9pm onwards will be five-piece Epworth-based band The Bluestones.
Now in their second year together, the Bluestones are fronted by Zoe Exton, who is joined by Tony Bacon on harmonica, Ian Laird on guitar and vocals, Dan Nainby on bass and Martin Steward on drums and vocals.
Admission on the door is £3. Call 07896 003157.
