BEFORE this council goes ahead and pulls down any more of Club 2000, would it not have been better to wait until next year when the leisure centre will be shutting because of The Pods opening and put that area open to the views of the people in Scunthorpe on what should happen there?

After all, it is our council tax that pays for it.

In the meantime they could have used Club 2000 for holding fitness classes for everyone there. The classes at the leisure centre are always full.

This council could do more to help obesity in this town instead of allowing more and more fast food shops to open.
