“It isn't a broken sewer, it's Liz Redfern's latest tourist attraction and smells a lot like the stuff that comes out of her mouth.”

“Hazzers. There's nothing worth digging up in Scunthorpe. If anything it wants burying and never digging up. When I heard a sewer had collapsed I thought they were refering to Old Crosby!”

“This was a sewer collapse so the responsibility of the water company, nothing to do with NLC.”

“I'm surprised more havn't collapsed knowing that Nth Linconshire has the second worst roads in the country after the Isle of Wight! Still the Baths Hall and Swimming pool are far more important than the mere motorist and bus passenger who has to bounce their way into and out of town. I reckon I could make a small fortune selling ex-army tracked personal carriers to navigate the roads of this county as they can go where 4 x 4''s and cars can't (i.e Station Road, High Street, Oswald Road etc)”
