Comedy trio bringing live act to town
This year's Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award nominees and five-star sketch-comedy act Pappy's are back from their most triumphant Edinburgh Festival run to perform at the Other Side Comedy Club at Heslam Park.
Their new show, Last Show Ever, parades the hilarious trio intertwining effortless sketches, songs, silliness and nostalgia through the eyes of an older reminiscing Pappy's.
Known for their two hugely successful podcasts of last year, the iTunes Best New Comedy Podcast of 2011, Pappy's Bangers and Mash, and Loaded LAFTA Funniest Podcast, Pappy's Flatshare Slamdown, Pappy's, pictured left, have also written and hosted their own game show for Channel 4, the Mr and Mrs Hotty Hott Hot Show (E4), and separately appeared in TV comedy shows such as 8 Out Of Ten Cats (Channel 4), Meet The Parents (E4), Miranda (BBC One), Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC Two) and Watson and Oliver (E4).
But 2012 sees them back doing what they do best – returning to the road to perform their selection of live sketch comedy routines.
