Comet store in Scunthorpe to remain open despite firm being placed in administration
Retailer Comet has been placed in administration but all stores - including the one on the Lakeside Retail Park in Scunthorpe - will remain open and staff will continue to be paid, administrators Deloitte have announced.
The firm, founded in Hull in 1933, employs around 6,500 staff at its 200-plus stores.
