Company signs up 100 opticians in 100 days
industry: Fan Frames, which makes glasses with Premier League football club branding, has signed up 100 outlets in less than 100 days.
The company had given itself six months to achieve the goal but reached it in less than half that time following the official launch of its frames in October last year.
Hull's Fan Frames supplies club-branded spectacle frames for most of the top clubs including Manchester United and Arsenal.
Director Paul Gibson said: "We only expected to reach 100 outlets by March, so to do it less than three months after launching is a result.

"We are selling much faster than we thought we would, given it's a new concept.
"Not only are practices buying the frames, they are reordering earlier than we thought they would."
The firm employs five people and is forecasting turnover of £300,000 in the year to April and it expects turnover to grow significantly over the next 12 months as more opticians sign up.
Mr Gibson said: "Towards the end of the year, we are looking at taking on more people and moving to new premises."
