Council offers free loft insulation to tenants
North Lincolnshire Council is offering free loft insulation and cavity wall insulation to all homeowners and tenants in private rented accommodation.
This offer is available until October 18 and has been made possible by new funding made available from energy company E.on.
The offer is subject to survey, available funding and the size of the property.

Loft insulation works a bit like a blanket for your roof by stopping heat from escaping.
It is usually quick and easy to install and typically takes no more than halfa day to complete.
The material is laid over the floor of the loft and over joists.
Cavity wall insulation is injected between the outer and the inner walls from the outside and the work usually takes no more than half a day.
