Crime levels rise slightly in Barton
CRIME levels in Barton increased slightly in January, according to new figures.
A total of 75 crimes were reported to Humberside Police in Barton during the month, up from 70 in December.

The most common type reported was anti-social behaviour, which accounted for 24 incidents in January, while 13 offences of burglary were reported, 10 of criminal damage or arson and six of vehicle crime.
The data, published on the police.uk website, also shows five reports of shoplifting and six offences categorised as other theft.

Eight violent crimes were reported, along with one drugs offence, one involving public disorder or weapons and one categorised as other crime.
Police in the town also recorded 52 outcomes for crimes during January.
Of those, two suspects were charged, with 17 crimes listed as under investigation.
Another 32 cases were listed for no further action at this time, while one offender was given a conditional discharge.
