He was sentenced to 56 months in prison at Grimsby Crown Court.

Tong pleaded guilty on a basis that the sex was consensual and at no time did the complainant indicate unwillingness.

Nick Adlington, prosecuting, said the victim came forward in February last year and Tong was then arrested in April 2011.

In a victim impact statement, she said it had "haunted her throughout" the period since it happened.

Katherine Goddard, mitigating, said Tong's co-operation with the police was a sign of genuine remorse and he accepted that he should be sent to prison for his actions.
