Iron striker Dagnall seeks extended stay on the goals trail
STRIKER Chris Dagnall is hoping he can stay on the goals trail for longer than his last stint.
The former Rochdale forward netted for the first time in more than two months during Tuesday's 2-0 win over Burnley, his sixth since joining the Iron in the summer.

"It was long overdue," Dagnall confessed. "Hopefully there will be more to come now.
"The little break we had because of the weather looks like it has done us well.
"I thought the showing at Burnley was a good performance and a result we deserved – it was also one we definitely needed.
"It's not nice to see yourselves in the bottom three.
"But if we can produce a few more displays like this we can soon climb out and look forward to a good 2011.
"It starts for us at Doncaster tomorrow. It will be another good game and hopefully we can get another three points."
With Watford travelling to Glanford Park two days later, United will be looking to improve on their wretched home form in the new year.
"The spirit in our dressing room has been very good all season," added Dagnall.
"Obviously we do also have to get our home form sorted out, I really don't know quite why we have been struggling there.
"But if we can produce performances like we did at Burnley, then hopefully that will happen."
