Daniel crops locks around the clock
A HAIR-RAISING amount of cash was generated at Daniel Antcliff's Salon on Ashby High Street following a 24-hour charity cut-a-thon.
Earlier this week, Daniel Antcliff (31), did something funny for money when he held his first-ever charity cut-a-thon in aid of Lindsey Lodge Hospice in Scunthorpe.

For the exhausting 24-hours, Daniel cut through his sleep to shed hair from willing participants.
Kay Taylor, from Scunthorpe opted for an early appointment to be Daniel's seventh client. She said: "I think it's a fantastic thing that Daniel's doing and I just wanted to support him. I hope he achieves what he wants to achieve. He's worked very hard and I think it's brilliant.
"I had an early appointment because I can't stay up at night so mid-morning was lovely. He's put on a fabulous event and he's a good hairdresser."
After cutting hair for seven hours Daniel was still awake and there was not a single can of Red Bull in sight.
More clients slid through the doors during the afternoon and evening – with a brave cut booked for midnight for James Hornik-Unger (24), of Mendip Road, Scunthorpe.
He lost his 26in ponytail for charity in memory of his mum, who died from cancer and was cared for at Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
The hospice care for people from across North Lincolnshire including the Isle, Barton and Brigg.

“Studying the face of the man having his hair cut makes me think that he must be the son of somebody I was at John Leggott with.
The unusual name also makes this seem likely. At least I think the geezer I knew was called James.”
