Deadline looms for Remarkable awards entries
leisure: Former winners of the region's premier tourism awards have urged others to enter this year's competition.
The Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (Reytas), organised by Visit Hull and East Yorkshire (VHEY) celebrate the stars of the region's growing industry, which is now worth £615m a year.
A range of businesses, from restaurants to pubs, to hotels and self- catering providers, tourism operators and attractions, are being urged to enter the 2013 competition before the deadline – Monday, January 14.
People can enter themselves and others in 13 categories for the chance to win a Reyta at the finals on Thursday, March 14.

Andrew Aldis, general manager of The Spa at Bridlington, who was the winner of the Conference Venue Award in 2011 and again in 2012, said: "The Reytas logo and that award is really important to us.
