Watch this site today for the decision on Scunthorpe Booze Master application to open 24 hours, Thursday to Sunday
A decision is expected to be made later today (Wed) on the Booze Master Scunthorpe store application for 24-hour opening from Thursday through to Sunday.
The shop is at 149-153 Frodingham Road and is already licensed to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises.
It now wishes to extend the permitted hours and this application is to be considered by North Lincolnshire Council's Licensing (Activities) Sub-Committee on Wednesday (January 30).
The application to vary the premises licence was received by the council in late September, considered by councillors in November but deferred until today, January 30.

Ahead of the meeting, members of the sub-committee have been reminded they will be acting in a quasi-judicial role.
Options open to them include modifying the conditions of the licence or rejecting all, or part, of the application.
The sub-committee will convene at 10am today at Scunthorpe Civic Centre, off Ashby Road, the meeting being open to interested members of the public.
North Lincolnshire Council has received a written statement from the applicant and other representations from members of the public and organisations, including Humberside Police.
In cases like this the applicant, statutory consultees and people making "relevant representations" may then appeal to the Magistrates' Court within 21 days of the date on which they were notified of the decision reached by the council.
Keep watching this site for the latest on this application, which has generated much interest.
