"One of the men, who was wearing a dress with no underwear, then climbed onto the train seat and exposed his buttocks and genitalia to the female and others in the busy carriage.
"The men and his group of friends left the train at Grimsby but, despite a search by officers shortly afterwards, they couldn’t be traced."
Police have carried out extensive enquiries in order to establish the identity of the man, including speaking to witnesses and circulating images on police intelligence systems, but to no avail.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been on the train and witnessed the incident."
