Discount should be given to Scunthorpe rail passengers affected by Hatfield Colliery landslip, group suggests
A passenger group say rail passengers affected by landslip near to Hatfield Colliery should be given a discount on tickets.
Passengers are being forced to use buses following the landslip near to the colliery since February 9.
Experts are now predicting it could be several months before any repairs can take place.
Passenger Focus say it will be discussing discount plans with the companies concerned.

Guy Dangerfield, Passenger Focus manager, said: "Any closure of a railway clearly inconveniences passengers and they will want to see repairs carried out as quickly as is possible.
"In the meantime, train companies need to make sure information about the temporary arrangements is accurate and widely available to passengers.
"In particular, having staff on hand to help passengers transferring to and from replacement bus services is essential.
"Given how long this is likely to continue, we think it would be reasonable for season ticket holders to have a discount and Passenger Focus will be discussing this with the train companies concerned."
