Doubts over whether full-back Nolan will remain at Glanford Park
UNITED manager Ian Baraclough insists he is still in the dark over the future of full-back Eddie Nolan.
But indications are that the 22-year-old, who has been on loan from Preston since the start of the season, will not be staying at Glanford Park.

MOVING ON?: Eddie Nolan.
Scunthorpe have been battling to sign Nolan on a full-time deal for several weeks.
But he has resisted putting pen to paper on the contract offered.
"We have been speaking to Eddie and his agent," said Baraclough.
"We have put up a good case for him to stay here and that's all we can do.
"We believe we have given it our best offer.
"Only Eddie knows what he is going to do.
"He is not the most talkative of people, he has kept things fairly close to him while he has been here.
"But the longer it has gone on you wonder if there is anything there or is there something somewhere else?
"He knows what he will be getting at this club and how we work."
Nolan's loan deal ends after Monday's home game with Watford.
If he turns down United's offer, Baraclough will be forced to look quickly for a replacement.
United's other left-back, Jim McNulty, on loan from Brighton since the start of the season, has already returned to the Seagulls early through injury.
The 25-year-old will go under the knife to solve a long standing ankle problem on January 11.

“I think that the writing has been on the wall for some time on the Nolan issue. He has been the best of our recent imports by some distance but a sinking ship is not on his New Year's wish list. Who can blame him if he wants to move to a bigger club but he should have had the decency to put his cards on the table and allow Barra to plan his January strategy without him.”
