Dress to impress, as stores offering 20 per cent off top clothing brands

AScunthorpe fashion retailer is offering discounts for customers who commit to supporting local firms.

David Jason and its sister outlets Smiths Menswear and Smiths Females are continuing to support the Scunthorpe Telegraph's Buy Local campaign.

Buy Local loyalty cardholders can get a 20 per cent discount on all full-price items at the stores.

Manager Andy Woodward said the business had benefited from signing up to the campaign.

Mr Woodward said the stores had noticed an increase in trading since extending opening hours to include Sundays.

The business, which was founded by Stuart Smith, has been running for more than 35 years and the main David Jason store has been at its current High Street site for a decade.

Other brands on offer at the outlets include Firetrap, Ted Baker, Duck and Cover, Adidas, Gant, Ralph Lauren, Armani and Vans and Toms footwear.

The stores are open from Monday and Saturday between 9am and 5.30pm and on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
