“to aimeeduffield this is fatoxy. i stand by what i wrote, if you and your girlfriend drive to the conditions of the road, as im sure you know,(see "the highway code"). then she wouldnt have ended up in a ditch. All you need is a modicom of common sense. its tht simple”

    “@aimeeduffield,

Go, sister, go! Every post you make shows just how little you and your girl friend know about driving in wintry conditions.

Why am I writing here? For the same reason as you; because it's open to the public and I have an opinion to express.”

Well you was lucky then not to drive off the road!

Nothing to do with luck, more to do with judgement.
(And yes, before you ask, it was on a back road, a single lane back road in fact.)

Also, you're having a pop at people asking if they were there at the time, I ask the same to you then...... were you there at the time?”

“@scunnymike. She hit ice tried her hardest to control her car but ended up in the ditch which couldnt help. She tried her hardest to control the car but it ended how it did sadly. Why are you writing on here anyways? Cant see why people like you have to butt their noses in. Pfffttt you dont know me so you cant make comments like that. Now just leave it for god sakes.”

“@digrtuntled I aint blaming the NLC but they can grit car parks instead of roads? They should be gritting roads not car parks! Well you was lucky then not to drive off the road! Why cant you just back off people like you we dont having a go at us. If it was one of your loved ones you'd be probs saying the same? Dont say you wont because you'd be! It was actually the police officer that blamed the NLC not us! So instead of accussing us of stuff get the facts right first love :)”

“The road I drove on yesterday morning at 5:30am was also very icy. Did I fall off the road? No. I drove to the conditions. To blame NLC for your accident is ridiculous. How are they supposed to grit every road in the area???”

    “@aimeeduffield,

Neither fatfoxy nor I made any comment about the driver's age.

You continue to harp on about a 60mph limit without realising that has nothing to do with a safe speed in adverse conditions.

You totally fail to realise that (mechanical failure excepted) if a car ends up in a ditch it is because the driver has not been driving in a manner appropriate to the conditions. It is not the fault of the council. It is the fault of the driver. Period.

Do come back with more of your semi-literate rants. They will give further proof of how out of touch with reality you are.”

“@bill clunge thank you for your kind comments :) she doing okay thank you just sore atm. Yes its horrible that NLC wouldnt grit the roads but then you get some nasty people writing comments. If it would be totally different for them if was someone who the loved that been in a accident! If anyone that writes on here nasty comments then please add me on facebook ypur can see how bad the car was yesterday! She only commented on to say thanks to the people that looked after till I got there myself! All she gets is abuse & being stereotyped because it will be her age? It's disgusting! But thank you bill for your kind words :) x”

“@scunny mike. Right you dont know my girlfriend first of all correct? You wasnt at the time where & when the accident happened correct? Right so why you just back off! Just because she is 21 doesnt mean you can stereotype her! She was doing 35 as a witness behind her saw her driving he was doing under 35 has done a statement to the police officer yesterday morning. If you want to proved this then go ahead and the ring humber side police station and ask for pc Ricky Dowell he will tell you full story yet if your not happy with his side of the story then please ask for the man who witnessed the crash ask what happened! The roads weren't gritted as I know when stood out on road & slipped a fair few times! Tbqh the NLC should get of the fat ****s do something about it! She was driving on a back road which is normally 60 am I correct or wrong then if so then please cortect me. She was doing 35? So she hits the ice tries to control the car but unfortunately ended up in the ditch! People like you sicken me when theres people out there who have had a horrific accident like this! So just back off keep your comments to yourself!!!!! You wasnt there in the car with her so you cant judge can you? No so stop it. You keep writing back I'll only keep coming back to you.”

    “@aimeeduffield

The speed relative to the speed limit is immaterial on a slippery road.

"she is a very safe driver" - I'm afraid the results prove otherwise. She was obviously driving in a manner inappropriate for the conditions or the accident wouldn't have happened.

I'm pleased she's OK and even more pleased no innocent third party was injured by her driving.”
