Dwindling Army will rely on TA support
UNDER Government plans, The Yorkshire Regiment's 2nd Battalion will be axed.
The unit was The Green Howards, prior to the last shake- up of the Army in June 2006.
Increasingly, the Armed Forces will rely on reserve forces to bolster regulars.
More logistical support is likely to come from private contractors.
