Early morning crash on Brigg Road

Emergency services were called to a crash on Brigg Road this morning.

Humberside Police responded to a call at 6.13am about a crash involving a black Renault Clio.

The driver was not injured in the collision and was able to drive the vehicle away.

Humberside Fire also arrived on the scene at 6.11am, following a call reporting that smoke was coming from the vehicle.

This turned out to be dust mistaken for smoke after the airbag was deployed.

Police declared the incident closed at 6.33am.
