East Halton inquiry - police appeal for witnesses to come forward
Police are today continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed Tuesday night's serious road collision in East Halton to come forward.
Mary Horsley (79), of Kettlebridge Lane, East Halton, sustained fatal injuries as she walked home from her place of work in the village about 9.30pm.

Mrs Horsley - mourned by many people
Anyone with information is being asked to call police on 101, quoting log 604 of 8 January 2013.
A 26-year-old man arrested by police has been released on bail until the middle of next month, pending further inquiries.
Mrs Horsley leaves two daughters, a son and a number of grandchildren.
She worked at the Amethyst Hotel in East Halton.
