One of the managers he played for at club level was the controversial and colourful Brian Clough.
At the sportsmen's evening, Garry will take the crowd on a humorous journey through his career, as well as answering questions from the floor.
Further entertainment will be provided by Lincolnshire-based comedian Steve Barclay, who regularly appears in pantomime with Cannon and Ball.
There will be a pie and pea supper provided and full bar facilities available throughout the evening.
Tickets are strictly limited and Brigg Town FC say they are "sure to sell fast" at £20.
