Eskimos and flies in first Scunthorpe Rock Open heat
Two new North Lincolnshire bands Eskimo Party and Dyin' Flies are the latest recruits for the 2012 Rock Open run by the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
Eskimo Party – Scoober on bass and vocals, Mikey on drums and vocals, and Waffer on lead and vocal – will make their debut in the 31st annual open, having only been formed six months ago.

OPENING HEAT: Eskimo Party
The trio insist their brand of alternative hardcore/funky rock will bring a fresh original sound to the local music scene.
Frontman Steve "Scoober" Bottomley said Mikey Scott was originally recruited to play second guitar, but proved equally as versatile on the skins, so the job was his.
