Exceptional result as leaders never give up
WARWICK Wooldridge's team have taken over top spot in the Mixed Pairs 12.30pm (Monday) table.
They are certainly the team to beat, with a single point separating them from Jeff Burnett's team.
These two are followed by the teams of Stan Shellard and Clyne Ellis in third and fourth places, both on 18 points.
Wooldridge and partner showed what can be achieved when you never give up in their game against Geoff Hobbs' team.

The Hobbs pair set off well and held an 11-2 lead at the halfway point, but the Wooldridge pair scored five shots in the next end to bring the deficit down slightly.
And with five ends left to play, they turned up the heat by scoring four shots over the next four ends to make it 12-11 in the Hobbs pair's favour.
Both teams produced some excellent bowls on the final end but the Wooldridge duo held their nerve to secure an exceptional 13-12 victory.
Phil Boulton's side have extended their lead to four points in the Mixed Pairs 2.30pm (Monday) Division One table, ahead of Alex Mullin's team.
Third spot has been taken over by Len Lammas' team, closely followed by the teams of Mary Walls and Bill Jackson, both on 13 points.
An interesting encounter took place when the Walls pair faced that of John Davey.
Playing some quality bowls, the Davey duo looked odds-on favourites with a 14-3 advantage.
The Walls team didn't give up and won the next two ends with a total of four shots, but they couldn't make any real inroads in their opponents' lead and the Davey pair won, 15-7.
Ruby Heatley's team are still top of Division Two, with the sides of Dennis Chambers, Pat Whittingham, Bert Major all one point behind in a very competitive league.
A dramatic second half turnaround saw Major and partner come from 7-3 behind to beat Julie Hargraves' team 19-13.
Mixed Pairs 2.30pm (Friday) Division One sees regular changes at the top.
Len Lammas' team took over that position, with John Painter's side one point behind.
Just two shots determined the outcome in an interesting battle between third-placed Dave Saxby's pair and Ron Southwick's team.
In an evenly-balanced encounter, the former held a 15-6 advantage with three ends remaining.
The Southwick pair applied tremendous pressure, winning the final three ends, but only scored a total of seven shots for a 15-13 defeat.
In Division Two, Rita Davey's team are now four points clear of the Dennis Chambers team.
The sides of Alex Mullin and Mary Walls are in third and fourth, both on eight points.
Chambers and partner took on the Elaine Harrison duo in a match in which the losing pair won more ends than the eventual winners.
The Chambers pair won five consecutive ends to go from 3-0 down to 10-3 in front, then extended that to 14-6.
However, the Harrison duo started to ease themselves back into the match and pulled the score back to 14-10.
They scored a single shot on the final end, which was not enough to stop Chambers and partner winning, 14-11.
Pat Kelly's team have had their lead at the top of the Ladies League reduced to two points, with Greta Deboer's team second on 14 points.
The teams of Meg Gall and Marjorie Nash are third and fourth, also on 14 points.
This league is really starting to hot up, with the pressure on the top six teams as they run in to the final stages.
Meg Gall's team looked in good form early on against Helen Maud's side, taking an 8-0 lead.
The latter started to claw their way back into the match but were eventually beaten, 18-14.
