Facts about Foodbank
EVENTS: Sarah Sidwell, project manager for the Hull Foodbank, will be speaking at the Welfare and Poverty 2012 conference.
Sarah will be talking to delegates about food banks, including the pitfalls and how to make them work effectively.
She will be joined by speakers including Julia Unwin, chief executive of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, and Daniel Wood, parliamentary outreach officer for Yorkshire and the Humber region.
The event has been organised by Involve, and takes place at York Barbican on Thursday, September 13
