Trade with large High Street retailers is to be transferred to sister company MV Sports in Castle Bromwich, making the Brigg warehouse redundant.
Steven Bell, Managing Director of Falcon Cycles, said "The Falcon business will be changing its name to Claud Butler and we will concentrate on our specialist Independent Bike Dealer customers.
"We currently store all the products associated with these customers in our Scunthorpe warehouse.
"Sometime during next year [2013] we will move our office and admin facilities closer to Scunthorpe warehouse. Ideally alongside it or even within it.
"The facilities in Brigg are not ideal for warehousing bikes as the buildings are very low, whereas the Scunthorpe facility is ideal for storage."
On Friday Mr Bell suggested that all staff would be accommodated at the Scunthorpe warehouse.
Falcon Cycles has been based in North Lincolnshire since Fred Hopper established a cycle repair shop in Barton upon Humber in 1880.
Since being bought by Tandem Group plc in 1995 the company has continued to grow, with current annual sales of over 300,000 bicycles.

“One of the few businesses in the area doing well, moving to better facilities should improve things even more . . and hopefully no job losses as a relocate from Brigg to Scunthorpe doesn't entail that much hardship for the employees.”
