ONE Pocklington trader has been causing a stir with a sign outside his shop.

Guy Scott, who runs Scott's Fishmongers in Market Street, has put up a sign that reads "No seahorse meat in any of our fishcakes".

A photograph has been doing the rounds on the Internet.

Mr Scott said: "People have been banging on the windows and smiling and taking pictures of the sign.

"I've been so much busier since the horse meat scandal, with business about 20 per cent up.

"Burton's butchers has looked really busy as well.

"Last week alone, I saw about 25 new people.

"People know what they are getting. It is exactly what it says on the tin.

"People want to know where the food has come from and wonder what other cheap filler could be in some meats."
