Fourteen staff redundant after Scunthorpe Comet store closes

Fourteen staff at the Scunthorpe Comet store having been made redundant following its closure, administators have confirmed.

The store, on Scunthorpe's Lakeside retail park, closed its doors for the final time on Saturday, December 15.

Administators Deloitte confirmed there had been 14 full and part-time employees made redundant at the Scunthorpe store.

Comet went into administration last month and more than 40 shops have already been closed by administrators Deloitte.
